Available on our My Riwal mobile app, augmented reality lets you choose the best lifting equipment for your site with complete confidence. Via the My Riwal app, you can select a machine, and then view it in a real-life situation in just a few seconds. This saves you time and improves efficiency!
Augmented reality
Augmented reality is a technology that makes it possible to integrate a virtual element into a real environment, by projecting a 3D file via the camera on your smartphone, for example.
With this technology, you can project the aerial work platform or telescopic forklift you want onto your site using your phone’s camera, and see it in real life.
You’ll be able to see the dimensions of the equipment you’ve selected and check whether or not it’s suitable for your site.
How it works
Augmented reality is easy to use. All you need is a smartphone and an internet connection. And to follow these steps:
- Open the My Riwal app.
- Select the machine of your choice and click on “View in 3D”.
- The camera will be activated and you will be prompted to scan the area for a few seconds, following a rectangular movement.
- When the machine has appeared, press the screen to place it in the desired location.
- Once you have followed these steps correctly, you will be able to move the machine vertically and horizontally in your working environment. This will enable you to ensure that the working height is sufficient, for example.
